Profile Property Group are again working by architects Tonkin Zulaikha Greer to create a unique personal office in an 1800’s warehouse in Chippendale. These made-to-order Italian glass blocks will feature in the new courtyard area that is being cut into the centre of the existing building envelope. This unique feature floods the internal spaces with natural light, impacting the adjacent boardroom, offices, kitchen area and car park. The glass bricks have been custom ordered for the space, providing both privacy and light to the building’s interiors. Watch this space for further updates.
Bennelong Restaurant, built by Profile Property Group in 2015, has been named “one of the world’s most beautiful restaurants” by Bloomberg. The Fink Group opened Bennelong at the Sydney Opera House about seven months ago in a breathtaking space designed by architect Tim Greer. The Tom Dixon lights, specially crafted by Profile Property for the installation, were also mentioned in the Bloomberg article which can be read here.
Profile Property Group are again working by architects Tonkin Zulaikha Greer to create a unique personal office in an 1800’s warehouse in Chippendale. The requirement of additional space for vehicles to manoeuvre in-and-around this warehouse space led to a change of the buildings’ original layout. Professor Max Irvine (engineer) advised on a unique column removal detail which achieved an adequate area for cars to manoeuvre, whilst removing two supporting columns. This unique structural solution provides a sculptural and visual element to the space, complementing the existing buildings structure.
Profile Property Group was established in 2005 to fill a gap in the construction and renovation industry. To celebrate PPG’s 10th Anniversary, we headed to the Hunter Valley for a celebratory weekend of wine tasting, golf and long lunches. It was a great way for the team and their partners to get to know one another further in a relaxed environment.
PPG’s success over the 10 years can be put down to the staff and their hard work, attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile when needed. As a result, PPG has been able to complete successful projects time and time again. The standout milestones over the past 10 years include working in the Opera House on the new Bennelong restaurant, winning two Master Builders awards and training more than 15 apprentices.
Profile Property Group would like to thank the team for their efforts and looks forward to the decade ahead.
Parlour X in Paddington is regarded as one of the premier multi-brand retailers in Australia, stocking ready-to-wear collections from Celine, Chloe, Balenciaga, Balmain, Saint Laurent, Valentino, Stella McCartney, Comme Des Garçons and more. Owner Eva Galambos spent more than a year searching for the perfect space for her expanding business. Upon reaching an agreement with the developers of the St John’s Church precinct, Eva called on Profile Property Group to fit out this extraordinary space.
Given the nature of the building, the client, architect (Tobias Partners) and builder (Profile Property) had to deal with heritage restrictions throughout the renovation, resulting in subtle finishes that enhance the original features, from the sandstone walls to stained-glass windows. Sleek, mirrored cabinets and pale wooden floors contrast with the original features, creating a stylish and luxurious atmosphere. Profile Property manufactured and installed all internal joinery and shelving, in addition to carefully restoring the ceiling to its former glory.
