Client: Valad Property Group/Toys R Us
Budget: $3.5 million
Completion: November 2008 (3 months ahead of schedule)
This job was to convert an existing 1940s warehouse into a 3500m2 showroom for Valad. The project included the construction of a mezzanine level through out the warehouse and a new facade. By
re-using the existing footings for the mezzanine floor we delivered a substantial cost saving on the project. In completing 3 months ahead of schedule we enabled Valad Property Group to lease the space to Toys R Us. We continued with the interior fit out of the Toys R Us store. The store begin trading prior to the peak Christmas period instead of the following February. This was the flagstore Babies R Us store in Australia and the second largest Toys R Us store in Australia.

“Not only did Profile save us money through smart thinking on the construction but they enabled us to open early for Christmas. This was a massive bonus for us.”
